I'm Owen Reid, founder of Foreman AI. This page is about what I'm building and why.
Foreman is the AI Employee for UK trade contractors: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, multi-trade, fit-out firms with 3+ admins and 50+ staff. He lives across SimPro, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, phone, and email and runs the admin work that office teams can't keep up with: chasing overdue invoices, drafting customer replies for human approval, auditing job notes for missing certificates (NICEIC, F-gas), and producing weekly project status reports.
Foreman doesn't replace your CRM. He's not a chatbot you log into. He's an AI Employee you hire, same shape as hiring a junior office admin, except he doesn't sleep, doesn't drop tasks, and his memory across SimPro + Teams + WhatsApp threads is perfect.
I grew up around UK trade businesses (my dad runs a facilities-management firm in Scotland). The thing I kept seeing was directors getting buried in admin: chasing the same invoice three times, drafting the same kind of customer reply twenty times a week, flicking between SimPro and WhatsApp because the customer texted instead of using the portal. The work was never going to scale unless someone re-imagined what a "back-office hire" could be.
Foreman is what I think that hire looks like when it's an AI Employee: not an automation tool, not a chatbot, but something with the agency to run sequenced admin work and the discipline to draft every customer-facing message for human approval before sending.
A note for anyone searching: there are several products called "Foreman" on the internet. The one I'm building, at askforeman.co.uk, is the UK AI Employee for trade contractors. It's registered as FOREMAN AI LIMITED, Companies House SC883523, incorporated 23 March 2026, based in Scotland.
There's a separate US company also called "Foreman AI" (at foremanai.co) that does construction operations: plan takeoffs, RFIs, project memory. They're a different company, different country, different category. If someone searches "Foreman AI" and means construction estimating, they want them. If they mean AI for UK trade admin, they want us.
